13U Triple Ball

The U13 teams will compete under a modified game known as "Triple Ball". Triple Ball is intended to promote rallies, multi-dimensional skill development and playing time amongst athletes on a team. You can view the link under "Useful Locations" to watch a video that outlines Triple Ball.

Hotel Bookings

The crunch time has arrived to get this seasons hotels organized. Teams should be booking well in advance. Unfortunately tournament venues are not posted too far in advance so hotel locations will be a bit of a guess. Hotels should be booked fairly central in each city.

Athletes and Parents are to contact their respective teams Travel agent parent volunteer to book hotels. Parents are responsible for supervision, travel and accomodations.

U15 Practice

SUNDAYS practice for Jan 31 will be moved from 1:00 to 4:00-6:00 yes a 2 hr practice!

U13 Fee Options

Option #1
$315 - Includes facility rental, insurance, equipment, uniform rental, warm up jacket, player and coach registrations, 2 tournament entry fees, coach honorarium.

Option #2
$240- This fee is an option for those who do not want an adidas team warm up jacket.

U13 Update

Tryout #1

Saturday January 23
Time: 9:30am - 11:30am
Provost Public School
$10 tryout fee payable to "East Alberta Volleyball Club"
Draw Prizes - 2 Tachakara Volleyballs and Mizuno Voleyball Pads
2 tickets for $5, 5 Tickets for $10

Please complete Alberta Volleyball waiver and code of conduct form, must be complete with email address for AVA registration.

U17 Practices

U17 Practices are tentatively being booked for the following days and times:


Fridays - 5:00-6:30

Sundays - 2:30-4:00

Practices will resume on THURSDAY January 7th 6:30-8:00, there will be no practice on JANUARY 8th due to a basketball tournament.

NOTE: REGULAR FRIDAY PRACTICE ON JANUARY 15th

There will also be a practice on THURSDAY January 21st from 5:00-6:30, there will be no practice JANUARY 22nd due to a basketball tournament.

U15 Practices

The U15 Practices are tentatively being booked for the following days and times:

Tuesdays - 5:00-6:30

Sundays - 1:00-2:30

Practices will resume on January 5th following the Christmas and New Years Break.
